EXTRACTING ROUND TIMBER
After the trees have been cut down, we start with the hauling out with the appropriate
tractors. A heavy tractor for hard wearing soils and heavy trunks, a lighter
tractor for smaller trees and more complicated exploitations.
Tractor with tongs for the more easy exploitations who will also haul out bigger
quantities an a shorter period of time. Tractor with chain-cables if the vegetation
or certain plants oblige us to haul out in order to avoid too much damage as
we want to preserve our forests.
The trees are hauled out to the forest roads so that they
can be uplifted by trucks.
As from there, trunks will be classified and measured, and all this happens
in your presence, as a customer or in pre-measurement if you can not attend.
