ESTIMATING TIMBER ON STUMP
As from the month June we start with the estimations of the trees of which we
know for sure that they will be offered for sale in autumn.
For these we generally receive from the administration or the vendors cards on
each lot that has been offered for sale.
It's our job to estimate these trees as far as quality and quantity is concerned
in order to determine its price.
All trees that are offered for sale are labelled at breast
height, mostly with a brand of the vendor on the trunk of the tree.
Only these trees are offered for sale. In the same lot, all other surrounding
trees non marked stay where they are and it is strictly forbidden to cut trees
non-market..
