CUTTING DOWN THE WOODS
As soon as we have the proof or agreement to commence with the exploitation,
we put in our best teams, taken into consideration that it still can be reasonably
warm in our region with the descending moon in the first weeks of the autumn.
This limits the action of the saps as we want to offer you trees in the very
best possible quality.
Our teams start cutting down in the presence of the authorized
forester, who has been advised of this action 48 hours before the start of
the exploitation.
The trees are measured by the wood cutter who this way determines his earnings.
All this is managed by our technical department. As from then, we start to
extract the trees with a skidder.
